A key component to the success of Oregon Horse Country has been our ability to unite all discplines of the equine industry.  In doing so, we have had amazing partnershpis formed, vital assistance found, and lifelong friendships created.

Networking:  Since OHC members are located all throughout Oregon, we have focused our networking events by regional.  The Northern Willamette Valley hosts an event on the first Monday of each month at one of our member properties, with a quarterly event being held in other regions (including Central Oregon, mid-Willamette Valley, and Southern Oregon).  Members are always welcome to attend complimentary as part of your membership benefit. Non-members may attend 2 events complimentary before being charged a small fee of $10 per event to attend.

OHC Meet & Greets:  In order to help OHC meet equestrians around the state, we are host Meet & Greet events as we enter into areas of the state that we have not had the opporuntity to connect with equestrians in.  We have held events in Wilsonville and Redmond in 2012, and will be scheduling Corvallis and Medford in early 2013.  Meet & Greets are a great way to meet current OHC members, advisory board, staff, and potential members.  We usually hold a brief presentation about OHC during the event and offer a vareity of door prize and membership drawings.

Oregon Equine Enthusiasts Meet-Up Group:  Oregon Horse Country is the organizer and administators of the Oregon Equine Enthusiasts Meet-Up Group.  This informal group is a great way to meet other people in Oregon that love horses!  Membership in the Meet-Up group is free for anyone (Oregon Horse Country membership is not reequired).  Schedule your own Meet-Ups (i.e. events, group rides, activities, etc.) or just join up with others!  http://www.meetup.com/OregonsEquineEnthusiasts

Annual Holiday Potluck:  This potluck can have over 100 people gather for a fun evening of meeting new friends and celebrating our successes!  Hosted by our advisory board, it has recently been held at Whirlwind Ranch in Wilsonville.  In 2013, the OHC Networking and Education Committee is looking at holding regional events.
