Wilsonville Kiwanis kids' run, Oregon Horse Country event receive awards - Oregon Live
The Oregon Festivals and Events Association recognized Oregon Horse Country's Black Beauty banquet and auction. The event, which benefits equestrian rescues and other non-profits in the equestrian industry, won the award for "best philanthropic event."
In its inaugural year, the October banquet and auction drew about 300 people and raised more than $60,000.

LAS VEGAS – The Western Association of Chamber Executives has awarded the Wilsonville Area Chamber of Commerce’s Oregon Horse Country program a prestigious Core Competency Award. This award recognizes OHC for promoting the community and creating a strong local economy.
“This is amazing news and very exciting for our organization,” said Kellie Grill, chair of Oregon Horse Country. “I want to thank everyone for their hard work and effort to make Oregon Horse Country such a smashing success. I am thrilled for everyone involved and honored to be serving as the chair for OHC.”
Wilsonville Chamber of Commerce Creates Oregon Horse Country Initiative - Wilsonville Spokesman

Representatives from the media and area travel bureaus arrived as Deborah and working student Emily Anderson trained in the outdoor dressage court.
